Training on Thursday 30th August

We are training as usual on Thursday, 7pm sharp at The Closes, Cumnor.
It is essential all that available attend this session ahead of our first friendly on Sunday 2nd against Deddington. It's likely to be a tough game but we've done really well against them in the two previous years so they are expecting a hard game themselves.

Training 7pm 23rd August

We will continue our training at 7pm, Thursday 23rd August as usual at The Closes, Cumnor.
All are welcome.

2012/13 fixtures released

The new season fixtures have been released and are on the left.
Our usual home ground will be The Closes and the default kick off time is 2pm.
Any last minute changes/postponements will be notified by text to your nominated mobile number(s)

Practice match 1pm Saturday 20th August

We've arranged a practice match this Saturday 20th August against Wootton Reserves at Wootton and Dry Sandford Community Centre, Wootton Vilage, OX13 6DN. It's an informal event and we may break it up into a series of short sessions. All are welcome including friends of the club and you may even get to experience the mighty Pete Bennett in goal!
Kick off is 1pm so please be there by 12.30pm. Lifts can be arranged from Elms Parade for those unable to get to Wootton

Training 7pm Thursday 16th August

We will continue our summer training at The Closes, Cumnor on Thursday 16th starting at 7pm sharp. There was a good turnout last week so are hoping for similar numbers on Thursday.

There's two pre-seasons arranged so far with details posted below and we're hoping for a third organised soon. We think friendlies are better than tournaments to get match practice before the start of the season, at least there's no hanging about in the rain.

Friendly 6.30pm Wednesday 5th September

We've arranged another friendly match against Abingdon Utd U16s at their ground, Northcourt Road  Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 1PL
This is the last game before the start of the season against a top of the league A side.
Kick off is 6.30pm sharp on Wednesday September 5th, please be there by 6pm. For those that can't get to the ground there will be lifts form Elms Parade, details to follow.

Friendly 11am Sunday 2nd September

We've arranged a friendly match against Dedington U17s at their new ground, Middle Barton, Worton Road Middle Barton Oxon OX7 7EE

They are an A league team but we drew 2-2 with them at our pre-season game last year so it should be a good warm up for the start of the season.

Kick off is 11am sharp on Sunday September 2nd, please be there by 10.15am. For those that can't get to the ground there will be lifts form Elms Parade, details to follow.
